Instructions for Use:
1: Power Connection
The controller comes with a 20cm long 10AWG input wire. One end has been crimped with a U-shaped terminal, and the other end has not been processed. Connect the crimped U-shaped terminal to the control power input terminal, and the other end is processed according to its own power supply. Do not connect the negative electrode wrong.
2: Switch on and off
There is a power switch under the control board. After pressing, wait for 3 seconds. After the buzzer drops, the LCD lights up and the boot is complete. Press the power switch again to shut down.
3: Screen description and parameter adjustment.

That's why people often make a spot welder from a transformer from a microwave oven (I have one) - it works much better than these solutions (you can weld quite thick strips), but it's not portable, the device is bulky and heavy - that's why I want to buy something like this - for repairs outside my apartment.

Yes, they will provide adequate current if connected directly to the battery, using a cigarette lighter socket 12vdc socket will not provide enough current.

That switch is not (as mentioned) the power switch, the welding switch is a manual trigger for welding. A plug is supplied but you need to attatch a switch yourself. You can buy these for pennies here or at other sites. They are meant to be pressed with your foot so your hands are free to manage the weldig pens. Press foot switch once, spotwelder beeps (as a warning to announce it's going to do the business) and then welds it.

I don't know how shipping tracking works. I bought a cheap (17 usd) vacuum cleaner and got full tracking despite hearing before the same that Jorgehpm said (25 USD threshold).
