I'm giving it 5 star. While the hot spot is nice and white the spill has a green transition band to a tint shifted light purple or something but its not bad and definitely better than the heavy lilac tint of the Tool AA 2.0. I really like the quality feel and look of this Titanium Alloy version though it gets very hot quickly using a 14500 on Turbo and even heats some using an Nimh on Turbo. I find that using a 1.6v NiZn battery that it is almost as bright as the 2.0 using a 14500 so I like that but it isn't as bright as my TrustFire L2 1000 lumens though the Tool AA 3.0 is slightly more compact and otherwise very similar beams. I had been looking at getting the green 3.0 with magnetic tail cap but glad I went for this Titanium version instead and using the NiZn battery it doesn't light up the tail cap and drain the battery and definitely brighter than thee 2.0 using the same NiZn battery so the 3.0 is a definite improvement and the Titanium version is a nice little bit of luxury but maybe not as practical as the aluminium 3.0 version but who cares as it's a nicer quality look and feel. If you want to get a nice light then here is one to get while in stock. I might grab another myself.
